How It Works

English (United States) 1) Login to the System

You must have a valid user account in this system before you can order software. Your MSDNAA Program Administrator (PA) is responsible for registering you; if you believe you should have access to this system but do not have an account, please click on the Support tab for information on how to contact your PA.

2) Select Software Once you've logged into the system, click on the Software tab to view the software titles available to you.

3) Select Delivery Option Some software titles provide more than one delivery option. Please be careful to choose the delivery option that is right for you (it is not always possible to switch delivery options after you've completed your order).

4) Obtain and Install Software

Depending on the delivery option you select, one of the following set of instructions will apply to you. If your software requires a serial number or activation code, it will be displayed on the order confirmation page (you can always access this through My Software).

Secure Internet Download: This option allows you to download the software over the internet, directly to your computer. When you click the download button on the order confirmation page, you'll be prompted to save a small file to your computer; we recommend you save this to your desktop, but just be sure to choose a location you can easily find. Once you've downloaded the file, double-click to begin the actual software download for your order.

CD Check-Out: After ordering the software for CD Check-Out, the system will notify you if the media is available for you to pick up. If it is not available for pick-up, you will be placed on a reservation list and will be emailed when the media is available for pick-up.

Network Install: This option allows you to install the software directly from a campus server (rather than downloading over the internet). Your computer must have access to the campus LAN. If you encounter difficulties, please contact your Program Administrator for assistance.
